I am Michelle Coutinho.

Real talk: I may be the most grounded, East Coast version of a spiritual mentor that you'll ever meet.
I have 13 years of experience as a college professor, teaching UX/UI at the University level, and 20+ years (or probably lifetimes, if you’re into that!) immersed in yogic teachings and contemplative lineages.
I am a teacher and guide first and foremost. I jokingly describe myself as an energy healer disguised as a coach.
My art comes through my singing work as a meditative vocalist and ritualist leader of ceremonial spaces and in the performing arts.
My body of work initiates other leaders into their own power and authority through pure transmission.
Why I do this work..
By using the voice and somatic experiencing in my 1:1 work we allow you to get out of your head and into the body. This rewires your circuitry and helps us access the highest and often unseen dimensions of YOU.
My expertise lies in presence-based mentorship that works at the level of the nervous system and moves you beyond your patterns and contractions.
That is when the magic happens. We become more than just our patterns. We become transmissions of healing.
If we can show the whole world how to embody this, then there may be peace on earth. And if not in our lifetime, maybe in the times to come.
That is why I do this work. The mission is peace through service.
Present, grounded, heart-based leadership.
Which we need now more than ever.

The most overlooked
system in leadership is the
human nervous system.
Death Portals. Desert Periods.
Profound Transformation.
People come to me in transition. People come to me when they are going through a death portal, a desert period, a time of transformation. I show them the way.
I am like a Guide, a bit otherworldly of a role — that nowadays we call Transformational Coach. But back in the day may have been called a wise-woman, Priestess, Oracle, Witch, Muse, or Dakini.
I like to think of my role as a Teacher of Wisdom. A Sage or Guide for the path ahead.
On the healer's journey, we are asked to let go of everything we know in order to be transformed.
On the path, I have walked through a few gateways, shamanic deaths + rebirths.
And now I specialize in guiding others through those threshold moments.
When everything in your life feels like it's falling apart.. it's actually becoming more congruent.

I came to Michelle with the intention of immersing myself in her coaching to work through some specific challenges I was facing—mainly around romance, intimacy, and improving myself as a man in those areas. I wasn't sure how it would go at first.
